I love the 4th of July! I especially loved this year talking with our kids about why we celebrate the 4th and what it means to me. Hallie still points out every American flag she sees and exclaims, "Mom, those people are celebrating the country!" We had a great day with friends and food and fireworks (oh yeah and bugs). Jack and Hals thought the fireworks were pretty much amazing and I heard more than once, "This is best day EVER!" Great summer day in Missouri.
